Backcountry Skiing the Highest Point in Maine | Mt. Katahdin

With the most ski terrain of any single peak in the Northeast US Mt. Katahdin has over 40 skiable gullies and couloirs. We skied the original 1927 first descent route. The most remote peak in the Northeast is a real treat to visit and is harder than most Western mountains with 39 miles r/t and 5k+' vertical. Original music by WoodBelly and skis by Liberty Skis.
