Tips to Evaluate Tech Bindings Release Check

How to Evaluate Lateral and Vertical Release on Tech Bindings

Checking the release function of 'tech' type ski bindings used for ski touring and backcountry skiing. These are simple tests used to be sure the binding works correctly, this is not a method of measuring release values.

IF YOUR BINDING DOES NOT PERFORM, BE ADVISED THIS CAN BE CAUSED BY THE BOOT OR THE BINDING, TO TROUBLE SHOOT, DO A-B TESTING USING DIFFERENT COMBINATIONS OF BOOTS AND BINDINGS.
